25 litres of coolant, always clean
For optimal chip extraction, the suction nozzle is integral with the spindle, so as to work in the area closest to the tool. The air-blast nozzles for cooling and the liquid sprays are also integral with the spindle, always ensuring correct lubrication.
The system uses a high-flow coolant pump with adjustable nozzles and a filtering tank with a mixed filter-and-settling system.
The filtering system combines the effect of 4 filters and 2 settling tanks: the coarse chips are collected in the basket and filtered by a first paper filter; the liquid, already partially filtered, enters the settling tank, passes through the sponge filters and finally flows into the 25-litre tank, equipped with an optical level indicator, a minimum-level sensor and a drain valve.
Optional on the Soft models (DF100, DF200, DF300, DF500); standard on the wet machines of the Hybrid and Metal ranges.
